When you take up golf or enroll your kids in baseball, hiring an Instructor is a no brainer. With the sport of fly fishing however, many feel they should figure out casting themselves. Sadly these same people quit out of pure frustration before they even get a chance to get started. Fly fishing should be fun not frustrating!
Cast smarter not harder. Invest in yourself.
Fly casting is one aspect of fly fishing that you can control. You do not have to spend your time catching trees, removing flies from bushes and untangling “wind knots”. You do not have to be sad because your fly line continues to pile up in front of you like cooked spaghetti. You do not have to be in a position where you can’t make the cast a guide is asking of you. Don’t be held back from taking that dream trip, or even worse, waste money on one because you can’t get the required distance, leaving that bucket list fish just beyond your reach.
